I noticed that several posts have a response from Verizon Support. I guess that they may not know how to support someone with a basic phone. That's OK I figured it out myself.
This is a customer-to-customer forum; Verizon reps occasionally pop in and may answer questions, but they usually give customers a chance to respond first. Sometimes posts get overlooked, unfortunately, and sometimes the folks that are reading posts may not have an answer to a particular post. Sometimes you can find answers to your question by doing a search first. At any rate, glad you got your question answered, even if you did have to figure it out yourself.
