How do I adjust the volume on a call?

HOW DO I ADJUST THE INCOMING VOLUMN? I CAN'T HEAR THE CALLER HARDLY AT ALL.

On most basic phones, the volume keys are on the side of the phone.  While in a call, press the volume up button until the volume level is comfortable.
