Casio Ravine 2 , 5 months old. Since software update 9-16, Doesn't let me answer calls, doesn't relay all my voicemail, goes to stand-by if I touch a key (doesn't turn off, but I have to turn it off and back on to get it to work again). Have not been able to get to 'Live Chat' for 2 days (always busy helping other customers). How do I fix this?
hard reset maybe. Honestly I'm shocked that a early 3 year old phone even still get updated. Especially since it's not sold anymore
Thank you, I shall try a hard reset.
I bought the device this June, in a Verizon corporate store, so it was available for sale recently. I didn't know Amazon was offering it for half the price :-(.
It does what I need and would do internet if I could afford Verizon's data plan. The phone has a SD card which makes info back-up possible. The battery drains very rapidly and sometimes it says it can't find the SIM card. Not sure what's up with that.
Thanks again. I'll let you know if the reset works.
SIM card? That the only basic phone on Verizon I know of that says it has a SIM card. Interesting.
Doesn't the phone have Bluetooth for transferring files? You still need a Bluetooth adapter on your computer but I got one that plugs into the USB port for $20 and I never had to take my card out of my phone to transfer files. I have an otterbox on my smart phone and no way do I want to take the darn case off every time I have to transfer files. Even my husbands cheapy basic phone has blue tooth so I can transfer files from it. If the phone is still in warranty I would go to a Verizon store and have them deal with it. Mary
