After this update I have had problems with the bluetooth audio cutting out. Also during calls a strange beeping sound can be heard every minute. Is anyone else having this issue?
No problems with bluetooth other than every few days I have to turn bluetooth off and on again to get my headset to connect. As far as the beeping that is the minute minder, if you go into Phone, settings, call alerts and turn off minute minder that should go away.
I was not aware of the minute reminder lol. I just don't know why I am having problems with the Bluetooth audio. Thanks for your help!
The minute minder is really a throwback to plans where we paid by the minute and people wanted a constant reminder of that I guess, I remember it back on phones 20 years ago.
What bluetooth device are you using for audio? Have you cleared the cache and deleted the bluetooth device and re-added it back? Some times these will help. Any particular time or place it happens?
I am using the Samsung Gear circle and it's pretty random. I have not cleared the cache so I'll try what you suggested and report back.
Couple of other ideas looking around on the web, try hardwired headphones and see if the problem does indeed go away (narrows it down to bluetooth only), if you are playing back from sd card try moving to phone to see if that solves it (some people have seen similar issues with failing micro sd cards). You aren't by chance getting notifications when the drop outs happen? It could be muting the audio to playback notification but not playing back the notification (just a thought). Try different apps for playback assuming you are listening to music.
BTW how do you like the Gear circle (other than the cutout issue)?
