I have always used the "Custom" in the "Allow exceptions" area of the Do Not Disturb settings so that my alarms are silenced but I can allow specific apps to listen to music and other media while on DND mode. Over the weekend I installed the software update and now my alarms are not silenced and when I attempt to place them on silence in the same manner as before the option to not allow alarms is grayed out & I cannot change it. How can I allow media but not alarms while on DND?

Alilit86,
I understand how software updates change our device capabilities at times. Do you have your device content backed up? Here's a link that will assist you with performing a back up via Verizon Cloud http://vz.to/2bIS4OY refer to "Using Verizon Cloud" section number 2. Once completed, I'd like for you to perform a factory data reset by following these steps http://vz.to/2ctI3sE. Please advise us of results.
