Subject kind of says it all, I have a prepaid phone, my mother has a contract phone, she can receive and send pic msgs at our house, which is in extended network coverage, but my prepaid phone will not send or receive them, is there some sort of service that I don't receive on prepaid? like do I not get EVDO or something? I don't think that makes sense for prepaid not to receive MMS when a contract phone will in extended network. Any feedback would be appreciated, thanks guys.
There are alot of things you can not do with a prepaid phone that you can do on a contract phone, but you should beable to send and receive picture messages. I tried to look up the Schu 350 phone is that made by Samsung? I was trying to get more information about the phone to see if its just not available on your phone.
Look on the coverage map, and see how the extended network for normal plans is marked as roaming for prepaid. These are areas that are not owned by Verizon Wireless, usually served by local carriers. They have special agreements for people with contracts to roam for free, but no such agreements for Prepaid.
