Changing number & keeping plan

I got my prepaid plan/phone when it was Alltel. When they merged with Verizon I was allowed to keep my plan, which I love and do not wanna lose. I have changed phones many times and just always kept my same number and plan. Well, now i want a new phone and new phone number but desperately wanna keep my plan! Is this an option whatsoever?

If you've changed phones before, you should be able to do it again.  Be aware that some newer phones may not be compatible with your current plan.  A quick call into CS before you make the switch would be a good idea.  As far as changing your number, that should not impact your plan.  Just call into CS and ask for a new number.
