as of recent i needed to use my phone as my GPS and have come to find out its GPS is unreliable. like starting out on googlemaps/waze, it pings me as starting from the other side of my town! I saw another thread about this issue, but anwsers were given privately Smiley Sad  need a fix please.

Right, you want to see if GPS is working.

First thing, make sure your phone is getting it's date/time correctly from the cellular network.

Download the app "GPS Status and Toolbox".

Open the app.

Use it's menu options to reset GPS, then to inject data.

Go outside. As soon as it "sees" 3 or four satellites, it should determine your Lat/Lon position.


Does it work now?
