I just upgraded to the HTC One M9. I installed the SD card from my old phone to this one, and the new phone is having trouble mounting the sd card. Is there an easy fix, or is it back to the Verizon store I go?
What was your old phone? Your best bet is to copy all of the info off the SD card to your computer, then reformat the card in the new phone. Then you can reload all the info into the folders created - each phone uses it's own file structure and the old phone may not have the same structure, hence the new phone can't "read" the old card.
I tried that. I actually wiped the sd card clean on my old phone first. It was a Samsung Galaxy S4. I put the sd card in my new phone, and it says preparing sd card, then mounting sd card, then preparing for removal. It doesn't give me enough time to hit the format sd card button. That one stays greyed out.
