HTC 10 loud rattle on vibrate

I've had my HTC 10 for about  5 months, and it just suddenly started having a problem where the vibration creates a loud audible rattle inside the phone. What could cause that, and is there any solution?

I would be concerned as well if I heard a loud rattle from my device when using vibration mode. Let’s see if we can figure this out. Does the device show any signs of physical damage? Do you keep the phone in a case? If so, what happens when you remove it from the case?
