Can an unlocked HTC 10 work with Verizon service.

HTC said it can, but I've never heard of anyone doing that. HTC advertising says the phone is compatible with T-Mobile and Sprint but says nothing about Verzion. However, I called HTC and the rep tells me it can be made compatible. So what is involved?
