Greetings! I have an old LG VN 250 phone and here's the situation. I dropped it and the screen went dark. I took it to my local verizon store and they wereb;t able to fix it and suggested that I go to another store that might have been able to and sadly, due to the age of the phone, they weren't able to fix it, either but suggested that if I found one just like it and took the broken phone and the non broken phone to the Geek Squad, that maybe they could, no such luck and I found out that my phone didn't have a SIM card in it that might have saved my contacts.
My brother is convinced that the numbers can be retrieved and with a machine, but doesn't know the name of it, despite the age and the condition of the phone. Does anyone know what the name of the machine is and if there's someone who could possibly help me get the phone fixed, just so I could get my contacts? rother that there's a machine (or used to be one) that could retrieve the phone numbers, does anyone know what can be done and what the name of the machine is so maybe I can try to find it and maybe I can get my numbers?
I know that it's a long shot and thank you all so much.
hmos I'm sorry to learn about your device and the issues you are having. Years ago we had machines in our stores to transfer contacts. That is no long an option now that we have the Verizon Cloud to back up and save your information. If you have not saved them we are not able to get them back for you. Have you ever registered for the Verizon Cloud?
My husband had that phone years ago. Was it capable of cloud back up? I seem to remember something that backed up his contacts to the verizon site. It's certainly not a smart phone.
