Customer service is a joke. Bought a new phone and line for a new business. The business wasn't up and running yet, so I didn't use the phone for about 2 weeks. Verizon suspected fraud and disconnected it. I paid over 800$ to reconnect and paid the phone off. I was assured the line would be reactivated. After talking to customer service for 3 hours one night, 2 hours the next, and being redirected to countless people that do not know ANYTHING, the phone can not be reconnected with the original number. This is after I spent thousands on lettering trucks and printing business cards with said original number. Verizon is a joke of a business who does not care about its customers. I will make it a point to tell everyone I know about this and put it on every social media outlet I can think of.

Audi75,
We're so sorry to hear of what happened with your initial account. As supporters of small business, we understand the importance of items like contact information. We value your time and want to make sure this gets investigated thoroughly. As this will require account details we will send you a Private Note.

The story feels like some important detail is missing. I've had an order held for "fraud" before too thanks to Verizon not liking my Paypal and was alerted right away.

More like $850 and yes. No bills were mailed to us. The only thing we received was a letter saying it was suspected of fraud, going to be sent to a collection agency and to call them

We want to be sure we follow up on all the promises we made in our Private Note, audi75. It looks as if we made some progress there. We will meet back there and continue to work on this with you.

Woe very weird they would send to collections like you are past due on the bill or something. Hope you get it sorted. Would be curious to know what they thought the fraud was opening the account.

Exactly. Now since I paid for the phone in full, I was assured it would be unlocked and my phone to bring to any carrier I choose. Not the case of course. Hopefully it's just a timing thing that I have to wait unlocking.

But why did they think you started a line that was fraud? Must be more to the story. I buy my phones out right with cash from best buy and once they are activated if I am not using it much or at all can't see how they think that's fraud.
