I'm not sure what happened I came home for leave, took my phone off it's suspended status. Somehow ended up with two lines. Which doubled my payment. I'm not sure how that happens but that needs to be fixed. I also need to put my line back on suspended now that I've gone back to Japan.
Pete2411, we certainly understand your concern regarding the account. You mentioned when you came home from leave, are you in the military? If so, please reference https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/suspend-service-faqs/#item5 question 5 on how to suspend for military purposes. The page also references other suspend options if you are not in the military. Reconnection of a line wouldn't add a line of service if you log into your My Verizon account, do you see a device associated with the second line? Reconnection of a line wouldn't add a line of service.
