I have an iPhone 4s. If I add a contact to it and then sync with Backup Assistant, instead of adding the contact to my contacts on the Verizon website, it removes it from my phone. How do I backup my iPhone contact list to the Verizon website list? Thank you.

Hi there DMommyP!
What an odd situation. And hey, I know firsthand I depend on Backup Assistant to work flawless on my device so let's make the same hold true for you. After all, we don't want you to lose any contact information whatsoever.
Now, I have to remark that it seems like you're doing everything right here when it comes to backing up contacts from your phone to the website. May I ask if you've tried this the other way around and added the contact to the website and then synced via your device? That would provide a good measure as to what's going on as well as store your contact. Something you may wish to do in the meantime from your device is to uninstall the application, reinstall, and then test again. And just because backing up information is important, know too that you can do this via iTunes http://bit.ly/DG9N0 . Regardless, we'll get things syncing in no time and I look forward to hearing back.

Hi EvanO -
Thank you for your e-mail. Yes, if I add something on the website it syncs
it to the phone. It just doesn't go from the phone to the website.
I was going to delete and reinstall the app as you suggested but when I go
to delete it it says " Deleting Backup Assist will also delete all of its
data". Sounds a bit scary, where is it going to delete if from? I sure
don't want to have to rebuild everything - especially without a record of
it.
Thanks!
Deni
p.s. as for iTUnes. That also has some "scary" not so sure I want to do
that steps involved. Don't remember what they were, it was a few days ago
that I tried it, but would like to get Backup Assist working and not have to
mess with that.

You can also use http://www.icloud.com and use the contact sync on there.

Yes but if it's only backed up on icloud and I purchase a non-Apple phone how would I get the contacts on to the new phone?
