My compass is backwards.
Any ideas - seems I have tried most of what I found online.

Are you using the compass feature of the phone or are you referring to an app for GPS navigation? Do you have a case or anything adhered to the phone that has a magnet?
Also, have you tried calibrating the compass of the phone by going to Settings, scroll down and tap Privacy, tap Location Services, then tap System Services, then choose Compass Calibration.
