My wife and daughter each updated their iPhone 4S to iOS6. After that point, when they send from text to email (which is required for sending to my Blackberry due to company policy regarding texts...), their text messages show up as attachments.
It always indicates that is coming from the @vzwpix.com address, regardless of whether they originate the text or reply when I send it to their @vtext.com address.
From what I've read online, this only happens on Verizon. (I.e., this does not occur for people with iPhone 4S and iOS6 on ATT or Sprint, per this discussion - see post by Ogen23.)
This makes communicating between myself and my wife and daughter very difficult.
It has been more than a week since this was first reported to Verizon, but I've seen no indication that they are actually working on it.
