All day today I cannot use the phone! I am dropping calls after a few seconds...lucky to have 1 bar of service. Was fine up until today..not in a new location. Also it keeps going into extended network, dont usually notice this much...when Im trying to search the internet...whether with 3G or home wifi...it takes FOREVER, I get bad connection try again...whats the deal?! I did a hard reset earlier, but ntohing changed...VERY aggravating, especially since I dont have a home phone!
maybe there's a network outage in your area?
my husbands phone is working just fine tho...
i am having the same problem..my calls drop in a matter of seconds and people who sit right next to me at work with verizon have no problems whatsoever. A verizon specialist tried to help me but to no avail. Not sure if i go to a verizon store to fight or to an apple store. but it is very frustrating considering what i pay every month for my service. So much for 'can you hear me now?'.....

You deserve the best with your iPhone! Can we get an update as to how your service is working now? What zip code are you in and when did it start? I would recommend closing out your applications to make sure that one was not causing signal issues. Double tap you home button and then press and hold apps to close them out. Then power your phone off and back on. Also try and update by dialing *228, option 1. Please let us know if you are still getting errors. Thanks!

Still a joke. Issues started around the 23rd. It's not an open app issue, I've done PRL update twice, hard reset, upgraded to ios6...dropping wifi a lot, unable to pick up 3G a lot in areas that use to be fine...not getting calls, dropping calls in areas that use to be fine.. Battery draining overnight with nothing running..zip codes 27544 and 27549 are daily areas. Heading to Verizon later and demanding an answer!!!

That's not good deliasaporita! I want you to enjoy reliable performance with your device and network! Where are you located? Do you experience difficulties in more than one area? Is it mainly occurring indoors? We need to get to the bottom of this!

I have the same issue I thought it was my house. I even got a replacement phone and I still drop calls at the drop of a hat. Also, my friends tell me that they've tried calling me and the phone just goes straight to voice mail and it doesn't even register a missed call.
