I'm new to having a smart phone and would like to know what activities will use up a data plan the fastest. What ones to try and avoid or what settings could also use up the data plan. Thanks in advance!!
Streaming music/videos can use a lot of data. My advice is to turn off cellular data until needed and use wi-fi whenever possible.
I have had my phone since April and have never even come close to using all 2GB of data each month. I mostly check Facebook, email and surf the web.
I am at about 11gb with 6 days left on an unlimited plan. The thought of having restricted data kills me.
If you stream videos and music, use a gps app constantly and go to full websites, you might be like me.
