My 5s iPhone will not find cellular.  Will use only wifi.  So away from home I can not use Internet .  Help

WHat do you see in the upper left corner of the phone in the status area? How much signal? Do you see Verizon? Do you see 1x, 3G, or LTE?

Tare out SIM card and rub it with a microfiber cloth.
