Start by confirming your specific Jetpack model number for us so we can look up specs and user guides to assist you.
Next confirm your data plan, are you unlimited or not? What is your current data usage for the billing cycle?
Next confirm what the Jetpack is currently configured to as its connection mode. There are usually Global, Automatic, 4G, 3G and maybe a few others that may get accidentally selected when troubleshooting.
Finally confirm where you are at when you have the poor performance by looking up the address on the VZW coverage map. If you happen to be in a non 4G LTE area then you will get the best that VZW can offer you. That may very well be 1x only.
