Can a Samsung Heaven be used as a Prepaid device?

Hello:

I have an older-form, basic cell-phone which I got four to three years ago when I needed 'just in cases' basis, since I'm an older lady who does not talk over the phone often.

Now, I saw 'Samsung Haven U320 Verizon CDMA Flip Phone with Slim Form Factor and Large 2.2" Display Screen - Black/Grey' on Amazon.  My current phone is in good shape, however I do not like 'voice quality' and I've started looking for its replacement, ... just 'basic cell-phone.'

There is more than $200.00 worth balance on my current one, ... I think name is 'Samsung Galaxy,' or something similar name.

My questions are:

First,  'Samsung Haven U320 Verizon CDMA Flip Phone with Slim Form Factor and Large 2.2" Display Screen - Black/Grey' can be used for

pre-paid cell-phone?

If can, the balance of my current cell-phone can be transferrable?

Any suggestions on this would be truly appreciated.

Yes and yes.  A Verizon store will do the transfer for you.
