Why can I no longer disable "swipe to call" from Verizon Message+?

Samsung Galaxy S5 just did a software update, and now I can no longer disable the "swipe to call" or "swipe to delete" feature in Verizon Message+.

Am I missing something in the settings, or has this feature been disabled?  I have already accidentally called several people!
