Can I have one number on multiple devices?

I have an iphone 6 plus. Most of the time it works great, but there are times I want just an old style flip or candybar style phone just to make calls on. Is this possible?

Only by activating the phone for the time you want to use it, then reactivating the iPhone again.  You can't have the same number active on more than one phone at a time.
