My wireless contract ended 10 April. Late on the 9th the number was ported to Consumer Cellular - more affordable.

Verizon wants to charge me $60.00 for early termination - only hours!

I cannot justify - or afford - to pay this for a matter of hours on a $29.00 account - senior citizen.

I agree that Verizon has the best service, but I cannot afford them!

Not much else to say other than you should have waited a day to avoid cancelling and incurring an ETF for having cancelled before the contract was over.
