I was able to get through to Verizon support and they helped me resolve the issue. I was looking at the wrong place to determine what version I had. Turns out it was only version 7 something, )

Waltsy56, I have plenty of apps that I use on my tablet and want to be sure you can do the same. Let's get to the root cause of the issue.
When did this error begin? When did you do the software update on your iPad? Is it all apps or only specific ones?
