Is anyone else with z30 dealing with contant freezing, needing to reboot?

I got a new Z30 in December to replace my Z10. I'm questioning the decision, love the screen quality but the thing freezes up constantly and I have to softboot more frequently than I ever had to with my Z30. I'm trying to preemptively do it most days so I don't have to sit through a reboot when I really need something...like directions when I'm lost.

Seems native blackberry apps are just as likely a culprit as the android apps.

We very much want to tackle this nuisance head on, StarSpruce. When it comes to freezing, often times it has to do with the amount of memory available in the device. To start, let’s find out what’s inside your device. From the main screen go to Settings > About > tap the upper right corner and select Hardware. What is the amount of Free Storage and Free Memory?

I recommend heading over to CrackBerry.com and visiting their forums. They'll have information on finding the most recent stable BB10 version for your Z30 and on installation. While Android apps are supposed to work, the plain truth is that the Z30 is too old to run them all properly. After upgrading your operating system to the newest stable version for your device, you should spend a couple weeks at least with no Android apps installed. And don't use Verizon's proprietary apps either.

Having a z30 , i believe the issue has more to do with blackberry not updating the software than anything. I still have mine, love the phone, but it has been put on backup duty and replaced with a Priv which is a pretty good phone in its own right once I got used to Android again.
