I have an activated Apple iPhone 6s plus. I have all of my old verizon GZ One phone contacts on a micro sd card. How can I copy/move them to the iPhone?

If you don't have many contacts you could go to iCloud.com and login then manually enter them under Contacts. I did this for my parents one time.
You could also put your SD card into your PC and figure out how to export them to a vCard. Then login on iCloud.com > tap on Contacts > lower left corner click on the settings gear icon > import vCard > select the file. Good luck and let us know what you end up doing.
