Can I use my AT&T LG V410 on Verizon?

HI. I have this LG V410 made for AT&T.  It was a freeby to my son for joining.  He gave it to me, but I use Verizon.  The wi-fi works great.  Am I able to buy a Sim card and use this on Verizon?  Is it possible to re-root the tablet to work on Verizon?  Thanks for your answers!

That's very kind of your son to give you this device, aptroed. Since the device was originally designed to operate on another network, it may not be compatible with our network. You can input the IMEI using the following link to check for compatibility: http://spr.ly/6581BXFpJ
