Change everyone's text messege ringtone: go to settings, go to "sound and notifications" then go to notification ring tones.
Change a certain persons notification ringtone: go to contacts, click the person's name that you want, click edit(usually a pencil at the top right) and go down usually you have to press "add another field" then check "message tone" and then ok... than press
message tone . 🙂 hope this helps!
Custom notification tones per contact is a Samsung customization and isn't available in the stock Android OS.
