Can I take my iphone 5s off my parents family account and put it on an individual monthly prepaid account without changing my existing phone number?

I need to see if I can take my phone line off my parents account and have it where my phone line is prepaid monthly with one of the verizon cards at walmart. I have a apple 5s and I want to keep my phone number.
