I am a school teacher and my husband works in construction. We have a fixed income.
Back in September 2014, called Verizon, told them I was working on my budget, nice lady gave me $15 off per line (2 lines) and 1GB Bonus data. Total bill - $110 a month.
Fast Forward to July, August, September, and (now) October 2015. Told by Tenisha I would qualify for 50% discounts per line once promos expired. No such luck! NOTHING available. So, I got a bunch of "smoke" blown in an area that I am now not pleased about.
Called for 14 minutes, got nowhere. Chatted for 31 minutes, also got nowhere.
8 YEARS with Verizon and you can't save me the same $$ that I got for the past 12 months??? I can go to T-mobile tomorrow for 10GB and they will pay all my ETF's for $100 a month with a brand new phone.
Guess VZW Customer Service is no longer existent.

Go ahead and leave. Do what's best for you.
Everyone lives on a fixed income. You know your wages, and it's fixed. It's not an excuse.

50% discounts, that is dreaming.
