I just switched to Verizon and none of my text alerts from my billers are coming through anymore. They all have my number (I kept the same number) but anytime I request a access code to be texted nothing happens. Is there something in settings I need to do for them to be permitted to send me something? I have a Samsung Edge Plus

When I first switched to Verizon almost 5 years ago the same thing happened to me. I had a problem receiving texts from short codes. It eventually worked itself out.
