We will be traveling on vacation to England early next year and I want to be able to access online using the ships/hotel's wifi only. I do not plan on using my phone for phone calls while over there. What settings do I need to make on my phone so I'm not charged roaming fees?
And will texts work? or will those incur roaming fees?
This will be our first trip overseas since owning a smartphone.
Thanks in advance -

To not incur any fees, you basically need to turn airplane mode on and then turn wifi on. Texts will not work unless Verizon Messages is installed since it can send receive over wifi. Any call or text or data will incur a fee.

you can put it on airplane mode and just use wifi. or pull the sim card so none of vzw svcs would work
