I did a software update on 8/30 on my Samsung Galaxy S4. Since that time I have been unable to backup my contacts. When using Backup Assistant Plus it fails with the folllowing message: 'Backup Assistant Plus has lost network connection(36). Please try

I did a software update on 8/30 on my Samsung Galaxy S4. Since that time I have been unable to backup my contacts. When using Backup Assistant Plus it fails with the folllowing message: 'Backup Assistant Plus has lost network connection(36). Please try again'. I have turned the phone off and removed the battery to no avail. I have tried numerous times to backup my contacts but the same failure message. Please advise as to next steps to fix this......
