I keep on getting this message on my 6 edge every few minutes for no reason: "Warning: Backup cancelled. No data connection. Connect and retry"
Can anyone tell me why I am seeing this?

When did this problem begin? Are you using any backup application or service on your device, such as Backup Assistant or the Verizon Cloud application? Do you have a data connection (WiFi or 4G LTE) on your device when you see this error? Please let me know so that I can further assist.
