I have two Samsung Note 4 phone on my account. On two occasions now, I have seen both these phones do data and get text messages while in airplane mode. Also both will do data internationally with data roaming turned off.
Has anyone else seen this, or have an idea why this is?

This is truly an odd situation. For a device to use data and receive text messages while in airplane mode is strange because when in airplane mode all signal to the device is disabled, unless on wifi. How long were the devices in airplane mode prior to receiving the messages and the accessing data? Were you connected to wifi during the times the phone was using data and receiving text? Did the devices show the small airplane in the notification bar at the top of the devices when this happened?
