My auto rotate feature no longer works. No drops or damage butcannot calibrate. Get the message "Unfortunately, Settings has stopped". Downloaded CPU-Z and verified all sensors are inactive. How do I fix this?

I found the same info on the VZW support page and already followed the instructions with no resolve. I have taken it in for replacement.

The same thing happened to me awhile ago. What i did was first unmount the sd card, then turned off my phone, then i took out the battery. Waited a minute, maybe two. Then reversed the process.
I had a good chuckle that something as simple as that gave me back auto reverse.
I almost forgot. I first checked to make sure that auto reverse was selected.

Thank you for the suggestion. It still doesn't work but that was something I hadn't done yet. Still stuck.

Sgeertsen,
Auto rotation of the screen is very important and comes in handy. Let’s get yours up and running again. When did you notice this stopped working? Please do the following on the phone and see if you get the same error message as well as if auto rotation works. http://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-112843/
