I have 30 dollars to pay on my edge phone and then i can edge up. am i alowed to edge up to a 2 year contract instead of staying on the edge agreement. im in the time slot where you need 60% to edge up.

Since the definition of "Edge Up" is that you are entering into another Edge agreement, NO you cannot "Edge Up" into a 2 yr contract.
To enter into a 2 yr contract, you must first pay off 100% of your Edge device, not just the 60% needed to Edge Up. After the device is 100% paid off, you can enter into a 2 yr contract.

No. You can pay off the remainder of your Edge contract and then sign up for a 2-year.

The "edge up" is when you
1) (early edge up) your have a remaining balance on the device and want to turn it in so you can get a new device
2) finish the edge payments and then upgrade to a new device with another edge plan
Or you can wait till the device is paid for (or pay it off early) then upgrade into a 2 year contract
