Voice Mail Indicator will not go away even though there are NO voicemails, either new or saved. I've tried rebooting phone. The icon won't go away on the display screen but always updates to the date/time that I rebooted the phone. How can I get rid of

Voice Mail Indicator will not go away even though there are NO voicemails, either new or saved.  I've tried rebooting phone.  The icon won't go away on the display screen but always updates to the date/time that I rebooted the phone.  How can I get rid of the durn icon saying I have voice mail when I do not.?
