Wifi after lollipop

My wifi is incredibly slow, I did a factory data reset and I still have the problem. I even went as far as buying a new router with 5 ghz dual band because I read that could fix it. Still have the issue..... I run a business and I need to take payments with square over wifi, if this problem persists, I will have to switch to a different carrier and phone....
