Did you by chance see the news report "Rossen Reports" about the hidden tracking features on smartphones? If so, it is a settings feature and not an app. I will hunt down the procedure for turning off this feature if you would like. I do know that on the Rossen Reports Facebook page there are short videos with detailed instructions on how to disable this feature.

Verizon has several apps that track your phone. Are you referring to general tracking or something more personal?

I am not talking about apps that may have come on my phone..or that are offered through Verizon.
I am referring to someone possibly downloading a hidden tracking app without your knowledge. Tracking all cell phone activity ie. text messages, email, location, social media sites etc. I have read where apps like this are available and my phone has been acting suspicious lately..which in turn makes me suspicious.
Thanks for the feedback.

Thank you but I am not asking about apps that came on my phone or ones that are offered through Verizon. I am referring to ones that have possibly been downloaded and running in ghost mode.

Anyone with access to your phone could put something on the phone like a "Find my phone" app that can track and locate you and can be hidden within the phone, only appearing when codes are dialed. Go to your security tab in main settings of your phone. Scroll to Phone Administrators. What do you see there? Android Device Manager should be the only thing enabled i'd think. Makes sure Unknown Sources is unchecked as well and that Verify apps is checked. Under Accessibility in the main menu of settings look for Services, are there any listed?

All appears to be good so far. But I cannot find the Services part under Accessibility...?? Where is this located?
