Network extender starting blink RED sys and magenta GPS

last night my network extender started blinking red sys and magenta GPS. I rebooted it twice. this has worked fine for over a year and it is out of warranty so  Verizon will not replace it. Any ideas?

If you bought the NE without the assistance of VZW then you might be out of luck.  Sometimes VZW hands out NEs to solve service problems and in those cases its likely they would send you a replacement under that agreement.

Normally when you get a red sys there is a bad SIM card (assuming there is no other connectivity problems going on).  SIMs are cheap and easy for VZW to replace so even if you are out of warranty there's a good chance they will send you a new one and walk you through the activation if necessary.
