Samsung Galaxy S5 missed calls

Samsung Galaxy S5 missed calls - I have had multiple contacts report that they have called me but my phone never rang and there is no record of the call in the missed call list.  This has happened both before and after upgrade to Android 5.0 (lollipop).  I have a full signal during these times and the ring volume has been on.  Has anyone else experienced this or have suggestions on how to correct?
