new phone, broken screen

I recently got a DroidMaxx and broke my screen 2 days later.  I now can't find a store other than Verizon stores, to fix my screen. Can someone please help me? I live in Brooklyn, NY.

Do you have accidental insurance?  Other than local shops, going to Motorola might be the only other valid and approved option.

My step mom and i both broke the screen of our droidmaxx not long after

having it. We live in Indiana and were able to find someone in Greenwood,

IN to fix it. Its around $220 to replace it and you would have to pay to

shipping of course.

Cell Repair. 317-600-9999.

Having phone insurance to begin with would be cheaper than $220.

Snn5, depends how you do the math and look at it. Ins. $9 per mo. x 24 mo. $216. The deductible is $99 to $199, the insurance company will go with the larger of the two, lol. Verizon or the Insurance company aren't in the glass repair business so they want to send you a used refurbished phone for your new one with the cracked screen, in most cases.

I payed $225 to have the repair done, no shipping brought it in myself, got prices as high as $375. Prefer doing that over taking a used phone.

Each phone has a deductible that is set at one amount.  Any 5.2 inch screen or smaller phone I have ever had has never costed more than a $99 deductible.  Rates are higher now though since the brackets went up.  I believe my new rate would be $149.  And, the deductible is cheaper than paying out of pocket.
