It would seem, from the recent web buzz, that the S3 (aka S III) is not dead yet as rumors of one more, final software update--from KitKat 4.4.2 to 4.4.4--suggest that this 'could happen' sometime in mid-2015 with the release of the new Samsung Galaxy flagship S6. With the continued worldwide popularity of the S3, I for one hope that this happens.
Yes. There are many bugs in 4.4.2 that are fixed in 4.4.4. Verizon should push this out ASAP, otherwise it shouldn't have pushed 4.4 at all. 4.4.2 is buggy (vpn broken, crashing apps), slow, and doesn't hold a charge (even with a new battery and factory charger).
