Switched home phone service to Verizon. Was told if service was poor just had to call TWC to switch number back to them.Days went by and we could not receive calls or make outgoing calls. When able to service was poor or got a message that call could not be completed. Called many times & equipment was reset, told me to move it by a window, told me to move it 3 feet apart, etc. Nothing worked. Switched back to TWC and am now being charged $175.00 because Verizon employees did not file a "ticket" showing I had issues! Switching all phones to Straight Talk ASAP! Any advice as to how to get this fee removed?

You received the device at a reduced cost which was conditioned upon a contract.  Your only option is to pay the fee.

You had 14 days from purchase to cancel (or port) the line to avoid the ETF. How long did you wait before porting the number back to TWC?

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
