Verizon says its because of a small crack in the upper right hand corner of the screen, but I really don't know. What sucks is I just got this phone in August 2014 and I'm having overheating issues, and it freezes. Verizon definitely gets you by the balls. There is nothing I can do unless it envoles paying no less then $100 and change WITH there insurance. They don't make you feel appreciated AT ALL. Off coarse they can't help in other ways like your bill or even sending a gift card. Anything would help ease the blow of "HEY YOU GOTTA SPEND MORE MONEY" to have a working device.....thats less than a year old! Can't wait for my 2 years to be up then IM DONE with verizon. I'd rather go back to pre-paid boost phone or tracphone. #verizonsucks
