So i currently have a basic phone, I believe it's an LG Cosmos. It just broke, and it's definitely irreparable.
My friend offered me an old iPhone, and I'm wondering, how can I make the switch to an iPhone? Can I just bring it into a Verizon store and have them activate it for me?
Also, I'm looking around my phone and it doesn't seem to have an SD card in it, which seems odd. Will that impact my ability to easily switch to iphone?

Is your friend's iPhone a Verizon iphone? If so, you can just take it to the Verizon store to get activated. Be aware, you will be paying more, all smartphones must have a data plan. If the phone is not a Verizon phone, it will not work with Verizon.
