Anyone have issues with GPS not connecting on Samsung galaxy s3?
I think the better question is "Has anyone here updated their S3 to KitKat and their GPS STILL works?" So far, I've not heard from anyone who can tell me it does. Google/Samsung/Verizon needs to track down the culprit and make them fix it.
I've already decided I'll NEVER buy another Samsung product. The only question left for me to decide is if I stay with Verizon and/or Android or go to another carrier/OS, since Verizon/Google offers no fix to the problem. So far, they won't even acknowledge it is a problem.
I'm not to sure how closely the S3 is related to the S4 GPS wise but my S4 works flawlessly while on GPS after the KitKat update. It connects quickly and provides an accurate location.
Pretty sure that while they are both running Kitkat 4.4.2, the build will be different, due to differences in the phones. Build for my S3 is KOT49H.I535VRUDNE1
The I535 is the model # for my particular Galaxy S3.
